Its smoky aftertaste reminds me of fine cigars. There’s a touch of peat, but it’s balanced, perfect for those not fond of heavy peatiness. Its smoothness is impeccable, but it doesn’t sacrifice flavor. The finish lingered impressively, defined by light oak, smoke, and a delightful note of dried fruit.īlue Label epitomizes “smooth, smoky, and delicious.” Taking a sip, the creamy texture surprised me, and I was immediately met with a bold caramel richness.įollowing this was a malty nuance, with a hint of chocolate and an appreciated touch of smoke.
